How to love your Inner Self: Often things are so easy to do and take so little time. Procrastination and fear can make something huge in our minds and make it so difficult to get started, then when we do what was needed there is that feeling of relief and a sense of wow! That was so easy, why didn’t I just do that in the first place? We can see how destructive procrastination can be as we know that there are opportunities missed, fines paid and sleep lost, if we only just did it to begin with, life would be so much easier!

One of the places we can start to make change is with our mind; we can say affirmations such as, “I am a highly organized person,” “I am somebody that always gets things done,” “I value my time and the time of others,” “I am a highly effective person.” We need to say affirmations and listen to inspiring messages continuously. This is the key-we need to do it all the time and everyday. It takes a few days for the momentum to get going and this feels really good. But we can’t stop there. We need to keep nurturing the garden of our mind and weeding out the thoughts that don’t belong there. We need to continue to water the flowers with kind words, happy images that bring us joy and praise and encouragement for the progress that we have made.

Getting things done on time and right away makes the Inner Self feel loved and secure, like somebody really smart and on top of things is taking care of him or her–yes that would be you!

So why not start today, there is no better time! Each dawn bring a new opportunity to start again; don’t let yourself from the past determine who you are right now.
